“GLS Dance have provided at Aintree Davenhill Primary since 2018. Glenn is a valued member of our school community. He liaises well with teachers in order to provide the best possible outcomes for children during his dance sessions – always willing to plan lessons that fit year group themes. Glenn is adaptable and teaches sessions for children from Reception to Year 6. He is passionate about dance and has helped to motivate the children and encourage a love of dance. Glenn plans fantastic dance sessions to enhance school celebrations, e.g. our Platinum Jubilee event. Both the staff and children felt that his dance sessions were the highlight of the day!”

We've worked with GLS Dance for over 4 years. Glenn is a fantastic asset to our school and works with every year group from Nursery to Year 6. Our children and staff look forward to our dance sessions and as a result, Dance is a core strength in our school for both boys and girls. Glenn supports our staff and helps develop their own personal CPD and confidence to teach the subject. Glenn choreographs bespoke routines that fit in with our own curriculum making our dance sessions more purposeful and personal to the children in our school. Ever adventurous, Glenn has produced whole school performances which allow our school community to come together and celebrate our achievements, through the medium of dance.

"GLS run regular after school clubs with a full intake, these children often go on to take up further lessons outside of school, with some now auditioning for performing arts and theatre schools based on their achievements in this area. Attendance in competitions has also been achieved through GLS entering our children into a number of competitions. Without their skills and support our children may not have had this opportunity."

— John Halliwell, Headteacher, Thomas Arnold Primary School

“Good Afternoon,

I am taking a moment to express my sincere thanks to Stacey for the brilliant work she has enabled our Year 5 pupils to produce. Her hard work, determination and high expectations for our young people are truly remarkable and I am so very pleased that our students had the opportunity to work with her.

I am so impressed with the standard of work and effort she put into this performance and I know our parents will be delighted with the performance tomorrow.”

— Lando Du Ploy, Assistant Head, Altmore & Lathom federation

GLS Dance provided curriculum dance sessions and enrichment clubs for our children for many years . Our coach’s sessions were always engaging and relevant to school themes, demonstrating progression throughout the year groups. They also choreographed high quality dance routines for our Summer Productions, including " Mary Poppins" and "Annie". GLS Dance are dedicated, reliable and professional and I would recommend them as a provider in schools.

— Gill Stewart, Deputy Head Teacher, Monksdown Primary School

“Really good teaching points given by GLS Dance. It was clear that the classes were designed to be educational as opposed to just coaching or teaching a routine to be copied. From warm-up to finish the lesson was full of opportunities to learn!”

— Jane Branagan, Class Teacher, Vicarage Primary School
